The Seven Associates T-570 Panagraph forms complex semi-rigid cable assemblies (with or without connectors) into any desired bend radius. The bending time is a fraction of that required using hand benders or one-time fixtures.

Slide bars accommodate cable or cable with connectors and are positioned in the panagraph for left or right-hand bends. The slide bar has a scribe line which lets you know how much cable is in the bar. The slide bars are pre-drilled to accept connectors, indicate the interface dimension of the connector. Length is determined by centering the attached scale on the desired bend radius or from an auxiliary caliper measurement for more accuracy. Length can then be recorded for future reference. A plug-in adaptor supports the cable for bends placed 90 degrees (or any number of degrees) from the previous bends.

Typically, once the first article cable is produced, subsequent cable copies are bent one leg at a time through the number of cables you wish to bend. For example, if you had 100 cable assemblies to build, you would first bend the first leg on all 100 cables. Then you would proceed to the next leg, change radius wheels if required, and bend all 100 cables with the second leg. You would continue this process through all of the legs and angles until the last leg was bent on all 100 cables.

Recorded bend information can be recalled and reproduced as often as required.

The bend information for your particular cable part number can be kept on a handwritten data sheet, or a sample cable can be kept for use as a model to reset your panagraph on the next production run.

This bench-top hand bender is designed to enable the user to bend complex semi-rigid coax cables for new design layouts or drafted blueprint configurations. Wrinkle-free bends are accomplished with the infinitely adjustable slide bar assembly which maintains constant alignment with the desired radius wheel. Custom, non-standard radius wheels can be used as easily as the supplied standard .085 and .141 cable wheelset. The standard set ranges from 0.200"  to 0.740" for 0.085" cable and 0.180"  to 0.750" for 0.141" cable size.

The Panagraph Bender replaces the need for one-time bending fixtures. Once the first article cable is built and the dimensions recorded, subsequent production quantities are bent one leg at a time until all of the cables have the final bend incorporated. Slide bars accommodate cable or cable with connectors and are positioned in the panagraph for left or right-hand bends.
